Cutture began in 2009 as a serendipitous creation by husband-and-wife duo Dominic and Helen Sharland. With a foundation in interior architecture, graphic design, and architectural model-making, the couple discovered a unique opportunity to blend their expertise. What started as a venture into laser-cut paper artistry for corporate clients quickly evolved into a passion for crafting extraordinary designs for the Event industry and Luxury Brands, seamlessly merging precision craftsmanship with creative vision.

Driven by a shared passion for design, architecture and craftsmanship alongside a desire to break the mould in event stationery and styling, Dominic and Helen Sharland founded Cutture.
Combining the talents of imaginative designers and illustrators with a meticulous production team, they embarked on a mission to create bespoke pieces that really told a story. Each design is a unique blend of traditional techniques and the latest technology in print and finishing, keeping the art of handcrafted details alive.

Ever since Cutture was conceived in 2009 Dominic and Helen have been committed to building and continuously evolving a sustainable business made here in England.
The materials and processes used are constantly reviewed to ensure we are continuously reducing the environmental impact of our business and products. Expertise, Mentorship, and Advocacy
With over 20 years of business experience—15 of which are in the Event industry—Dominic and Helen have become sought-after voices in their field. They frequently share their expertise as panel board members, contributors to press, and through mentorship programs.
Dominic’s passion for empowering young entrepreneurs has led him to collaborate with The King’s Trust, guiding the next generation on their entrepreneurial journeys. Meanwhile, Helen serves as a Help to Grow Mentor—a Government initiative—working closely with professionals in the Event industry and creative businesses to foster growth and innovation. This has led to Helen becoming a qualified ILM Level 5 Certified Coach and Mentor, Helen supports creative business owners, finding this work to be vital for Founder Mental health and immensely rewarding for all.
As advocates for diversity and inclusion, Dominic and Helen are proud judges for the Diversity in Luxury Awards. Each year, they research and present the award for Luxury Inclusivity Innovation, celebrating groundbreaking achievements in this vital area.

Dominic
CEO and Co-Founder of Cutture. Meticulous in design and manufacturing, with a history in architecture, model-making, three-dimensional design and print, Dominic’s expertise keeps Cutture at the forefront of innovative design alongside providing solutions for manufacturing to the highest standard.
Helen
CMO and Co-Founder of Cutture. With a history in architecture and design, Helen’s passion for conceptual design runs through the brand to the core. Alongside Creative Direction, she is responsible for the Brand and helps ensure Cutture is the company you expect us to be.
Claire
Senior Designer, Brand Ambassador. Claire is simply immensely talented in graphic design, branding and styling concepts. Claire’s technical knowledge, alongside her gifted illustrative design skills, enables us to break the mould when it comes to creative bespoke design.
Our Fabulous Makers
Our talented makers and workshop team are a diverse group of local artisans and skilled professionals, each bringing their unique expertise to help us create exceptional products.
Many of our makers are local parents working flexibly around their families and re-entering the workplace.
We believe in fostering social equity and supporting communities locally. We prioritise fair labour practices throughout our supply chain, ensuring safe working conditions and fair wages for all workers involved in the production of our stationery.
